This week we have a lot going on. It kicked off Sunday with a Couples baby shower at my sister Terah's house! We had a blast. I will be posting photos later on that! Stay tuned.
Monday I had another chiropractor appointment and massage. Those massages are doing a Momma good!:) My adjustments are doing better too, now that I go every two weeks.
I am calling and scheduling Pediatrician interview appointments for Josh and me this week. We have one next Friday with a doctor that came highly recommended by several neighbors. She's an M.D. not a D.O., like I usually prefer but it sounds like she has a nurturing approach and excellent bedside manner with kids! And she's 5 miles from our house! That's a big win!
Tomorrow my sisters and I are going to learn how to milk paint! We are going to be milk painting the letters to hang on Evan's wall in the nursery. Milk painting is a natural non toxic paint that gives wood a vintage or distressed look. It should be a fun morning! Pictures to come as well!:)
I'm still doing prenatal yoga every week and tonight we start our first Lamaze series class and tour our hospital and get comfortable with the policies and procedures for security when we stay there. Josh wants to pick out his bed! Lol!
Thursday I have another doctor appointment. They are every two weeks now. We will be discussing more of my birth plan and doing a basic check up. We discussed vaccinations in length last visit. I have been doing a lot of research on this controversial topic, and it is very overwhelming. We really want to make the right, educated decision for Evan. There's a lot of information out there to weed through. I decided to decline the TDaP vaccine for me at the last visit. I don't really believe it will give him much antibodies to make a difference anyway. Plus I had my booster just a year ago, so I'm covered.
We are having a few additions to the landscape put in this week as well and today my friend Craig is coming to install the wall sconces in Evan's room! Josh is working on mounting the Paris wall map in his room as well and the crib is in route! It shipped yesterday from California so hopefully it's here on Friday! Just in time for our final baby shower that my girlfriends are throwing us on Saturday! In the midst of the busy week, I'm also trying to get the house ready for everyone that's staying on Friday night and for the big event Saturday! I can't wait! The weather looks beautiful all week and the shower will be outside on the back patio! We are looking forward to celebrating with the friends! It will be fun!
Stay tuned for updates!!
