Update on how we are doing

So we have been home a couple days and things are going really well. Evan is nursing great and he is on target with his wets and dirties. He has his first visit to see Dr. Megremis tomorrow at 11:15am. This will be our first time to get up, nurse, shower, pack up, and make it somewhere on time. So it should be an interesting morning!! Lol!!

Josh has been amazing! He is up and active with me at every feeding. He likes to do the burping or diaper changes. We usually both do diaper changes together to make easier.
We aren't sleeping that much, not because there hasn't been the opportunity but because we are in the new parent high, where you can't stop staring at him or taking pictures!!! But surprisingly we both don't feel that bad without much sleep.....yet! I'm still very sore and achy. Nothing that I think I need to call the doctor for but I am in enough pain that I can't just fall asleep and get comfy right away. We have been doing too much laughing and that really makes me hurt. Hopefully everyday gets a little better.

My Mom has been so fantastic for us. She has been making great meals, cleaning, going to store, serving me bedside, getting my supplies, doing laundry, and more! It's just what we needed so we can just focus on Evan and the sweet smiles he's been giving us!
But she will eventually have to go back to work and Josh too and all this service and catering will be gone. I hope I still stop and eat lunch for myself! If you want to score some quality Evan time show up with lunch in the afternoon and my door will be flying open!! Lol!

Ok it's time to switch sides and burp so I gotta go. Oh yeah, and it's Halloween so we got to get him in his pumpkin outfit! Trick or treating isn't until tomorrow for us in Zionsville. Josh is dressing up and so is Evan! Stay tuned for those awesome pictures!!:)

We made it!!!

We had a great welcome home!!! It was so exciting to bring him into his home!! Videos of the arrival to come! I haven't figured out how to post them yet!!

But here are a few pics! Lollie and Grandma did such an amazing job making us a wonderful sit down dinner and clean house and helped us get unpacked and situated. It was FANTASTIC!!!! We couldn't of asked for more!!

Heading Home!!

We had an awesome experience at IU North! The staff was amazing!! They were sad to see Evan leave because they All love him so much! He's voted most adorable!! I have to remember to start his trophy shelf!! Lol!!
But everyone was so excited for us to be bringing our little guy home!

Good Morning everybody! I have a big day today! So much going on! And if everything goes well then Mommy and Daddy get to bring me home! I can't wait!!
