10 Months!!

My, how time is flying! Didn't we just post his 9 month photos??!! Well, another month has flown by and Evan is still continuing to amaze us! He was crawling at 9 months, but now---he is racing around the house on those little knees and hands!!! 'Tis the season for new bumps and bruises however. He has a knack for crawling head first into walls and tables. He's also opened a few doors straight into his noggin. We are doing our best to keep him in one piece, but there are gonna be some scrapes here and there we know. He has started to give "high fives" and just a couple days ago he started waving hello and goodbye!! And sometimes he just waves at ceiling fans and refrigerator doors and passing cars....but it's still waving and incredibly sweet!! He is becoming more and more like both his parents everyday in both demeanor, level of patience and appearance. We just see so much of each of us in him.

His favorite books are Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Jesus Loves Me. Although he doesn't sit still for long, we are reading to him everyday. He loves to watch his "shows" on our iPad. His favorites to watch are his Counting DVD and his Baby Einsteins!! His favorite foods are blueberries, black beans, cheese, and yogurt. He starts music class and Story time at the library next week. That should be fun. He is a social butterfly, making friends and cooing at everybody he meets!

Finally, we took our first trip to the zoo today. We towed him around in his wagon. He was a great little boy all day and was mildly interested in the animals. More in the people and all the other stuff around him. He did perk up and squeal and hoot when we saw the brown bears playing!! We think he recognized us saying Brown bear from his favorite book. Whatever it was, it was sure cute!! A very fun family day. More to come soon I hope!!
