9 months and counting!!!!

Everyone told us it would fly by, and they were right! In what seems about 2 months, Evan is all of a sudden 9 month old! It's amazing how much he has grown up in the last month as well. He would rather stand at his play tables and on us rather than sit, he is eating entire chicken legs in one sitting, he is full on splashing and loving bathtime and more than anything.....he is on the move! About two weeks ago he started army crawling and within a day or two, he figured out he could get anywhere he wanted in no time flat. He has even started opening and closing doors when he can get his little, chubby fingers on the bottom of the door. Life is going by very very quickly for us and him!

We are close to crawling on the knees we think, and we are trying new foods and new adventures all the time. He loves swinging at the park, taking rides in his wagon and floating in his floaty at the pool with the big kids! I'm sure there are more adventures just around the corner as well. Mommy and Daddy are doing great too. Everyone is sleeping better and we are really settling into a nice routine at the house. Mommy and Evan have a blast during the weeks together while Daddy is away working. Dinner time and bath time are "can't miss" when Daddy gets home and weekends are just awesome all day family affairs!

Anyone who knows Evan knows that he is just the happiest darn baby ever. He laughs and smiles all day long and is such a good, good baby. We are having so much fun with him and really trying to soak up as much time with him this first year as we can. Time is flying by, but we are enjoying the ride immensely!
