Daddy went to work today and Grandma is gone. We miss them but we had a great day! I feel better today. I cleaned up the house some, did laundry, got the mail, took a shower and got ready. Even curled my hair! Little man slept in his lounger while I did my thing! He looks so cozy.
My girlfriend Cori is on her way to drop off a lasagne for dinner tonight. We are loving all the help and out reach. It is such a blessing.
Having my Mom here for a week with us was the best! We couldn't have done it without her. She cooked three meals a day, plus snacks, sometimes bedside, constantly filled my water cup, did laundry, cleaned the house, picked up groceries, went and got prescriptions for me, packed us a lunch the day we went out, and she even sat in the floor and painted my toe nails to make me feel better!! I mean seriously she's the BEST!!! I'm going to be just like her for Evan when he needs me the most!!
She made sure we focused on Evan and that both of had time to adjust to a routine before today came and I'm feeling good about my first day!
Thanks to Lollie and Pop too for helping pick things up for us this past week. All the help has been tremendous!! I just finished another bowl of Aunt Julie's beef vegetable soup! Delicious! Thank you!
It's going to be a good week! Hopefully the time that Josh is out of town flies by. I know he will miss his little guy so much and so will we.
