This morning laying in bed, I reached over and put my hand on Timnah's belly and sure enough, I felt out little miracle move! It was so amazing! I can just imagine him in there, moving around and rubbing his little eyes and kicking his feet, probably wanting Mommy to get up and feed him.....it's really awesome.
Since finding out we are having a little boy, life's speed seems to have picked up even more. There's all of a sudden there is a lot to do! We have literally zero nursery done and that's quite a project that Mommy is spearheading full steam ahead. I thought she had alot of ideas for decorating this house.....you can't imagine for our little one's nursery. We have classes to schedule, strollers and pack and plays to research and buy, clothes to accumulate. (By the way--to our friends Andreza and Scott--thank you for all the adorable clothes! Especially the sunglasses!)
I am so happy that we are having a boy. I honestly was surprised when we cut the cake. As I laid down that knife, I thought I was going to see pink, but was shocked when blue showed up. We feel very blessed that so far that he and mommy are doing so well. It wouldn't matter if it was a girl, so long as she was healthy too. But there's obviously a part of me that's extra excited that a little Masariu Man is on the way. Now the seemingly impossible task of naming this little wonder is upon us. We have about 3-5 names that we really like and we are so funny about how we decide. We say them like he's introducing himself to an adult, like we are yelling for him in the house to come to dinner, like we are playing with him as a baby, like we are mad at him (we use the middle name there), like the announcer at the high school football game is saying his name after a 80 yard touchdown catch, like he's a man and introducing himself to clients.....it's just hilarious.
Thank you all for the love and support and all the well wishes to Timnah as she embarks on this new chapter in her life. We are so excited about her new role and our new family. Lots to do in the next few months--we'll keep ya posted!
Love,
Daddy
