In December at 13 months old he took two big independent steps toward Grandma and at 14 months he is building up his confidence and has taken up to 5 steps in a row on his own several times!! He is standing without holding on to anything a lot more these days too. I think it won't be long before we are chasing those little legs around the house!!
It has been so exciting watching these first steps this past month. He has really grown and next week we take him into the doctor to see just how much he has grown!
I have been hearing more Momma and Dada words lately and he and are definitely communicating. He knows what I'm saying, especially when I tell him NO!!
He is opening and closing doors like a pro. He loves to play peek-a-boo using the door. We get lots of sweet giggles during that. He is exploring everything and we keep him entertained and out and about. He enjoys going to the Urban Chalkboard to play with other kids, Conner Prairie, Butler basketball games and Toddler Time at the library. His latest accomplishment is overcoming his fear of our big vacuum cleaner! Now he plays with it more than his toys!
He's growing up fast!!
